Step 1
Clean the pancreas. Open the duodenum to find the duodenal papilla. Dissect where the common bile duct and pancreatic ducts enter the duodenum. Find the blood supply to these organs. |

Mobilize the kidneys and adrenals. Find the branches of the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava. | ||

Step 3
Clean the diaphragm and muscles of posterior abdominal wall. Dissect the branches of the lumbar plexus. |
