Step 1
Bisect the cranium mid-sagitally and identify the structures on the lateral wall of the nasal cavity and the nasopharynx |

Step 2
Remove the conchae and mucosa to expose the tensor veli palatini and levator palatini muscles. | |||
Step 3
Open the pterygopalatine fossa and palatine canal to expose the pterygopalatine ganglion, the descending palatine artery and the greater and lesser palatine nerves. |
