Step 1
Blunt dissect the visceral contents of the pelvis and appreciate their relationships.
Each of the steps in the dissection includes more specific instructions for the dissection of that step. The buttons below provide lists of all the structures that will be dissected in this session.

Step 2
Bisect the pelvis and remove one limb. (At this point, refer to the dissection of the perineum and complete this before bisecting the pelvis)
Step 3
Demonstrate the parts of the viscera that have been bisected.
Step 4
Dissect the branches of the internal iliac arteries and nerves on the lateral wall of the pelvis.
