Session Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
    1. Understand What Sources Contribute to U.S. Health Care Financing
    2. Define key insurance terms such as co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, HMO, PPO, etc.
    3. Demonstrate differences between Medicare and Medicaid
    4. Demonstrate how PPO insurance works in practical application
    5. Understand the role of the uninsured in the financing of the U.S. Health Care System
    6.  Identify the major mechanisms of financing the delivery of health care, e.g., Medicare
        Medicaid, private insurance
    7. Identify strategies for insuring the uninsured
    8. Analyze the impact of proposed reform effort on various stakeholders in the health care system,
        e.g., hospitals, patients, insurers, etc.
