Tracheal deviation could be either due to Lung, pleural, Mediastinal or Chest wall disease. The mediastinum can be either pulled or pushed away from the lesion.

    • Surgical resection
  • Push: (Space occupying lesions)
    • Large mass lesions
• Pleura
  • Push:
    • Pneumothorax
    • Pleural effusion
  • Pull:
    • Pleural fibrosis
• Mediastinal masses and thyroid tumors
• Kyphoscoliosis
