Requirements

Independently, but with proper supervision, provide care for assigned patients, including all record keeping, interacting with families and other health care personnel, performing appropriate procedures, participating in rounds, and taking assigned call.

Obtain verbal and written feedback on performance from attendings midway through the rotation. A “Mid-rotation Clinical Performance Evaluation and Feedback” form will be provided (see below) which must be signed by the student and the attending and submitted along with the student's “end-of-rotation” evaluation form. (Only the latter form will be used to determine the student's Final Grade.)

Prepare for, attend, and participate in all structured subinternship activities, OSCE station exercises and final examination
