Obtain a CT of the head
The patient is cocooned in a new clean sheet keeping all contamination from the pool water from spreading. A clean herculite pathway is rolled into the room and a new cart is brought in. A clean team transfer is performed and the patient brought to the CT scanner. The patient is accompanied by a radiation technologist. The REA staff stay behind and wait for the results. Approximately 30 minutes later, the patient returns. The patient is transferred back to the cart in the REA. The CT scan of the head is unremarkable.
