Spirometry

The possible sites of obstruction are:

• Extra thoracic upper airway
• Intra thoracic upper airway
• Bronchial tree (COPD)
• Small airway
• Emphysema (alveolar level)

I am not going to expect you to identify site of airway obstruction of each one of these sites from PFT evaluation.
