Dissection of the Knee Joint

  1. The cruciate ligaments and menisci can be seen by flexing the knee joint as seen in this dissection.
    HINT: The cruciate ligaments are named according to their attachments on the tibia.

  2. The posterior cruciate ligament is seen posteriorly.
