Paulson, et al., obtained a five year survival rate of 34% in his study of 61 patients over 19 years. Others have failed to reproduce these results, Hilaris and his group from Sloan- Kettering Cancer Center noted a 22% survival rate in their series. Paulson reports a 29% ten year survival rate to date.
